Matlock is just 5 miles away. ​Towns such as Ashbourne, Belper, Bakewell and Chesterfield are all within easy reach (30 minutes drive). The High Peak Trail at Black Rocks (and the start of the new White Peak Loop) is just 1 mile down the road.
