Florence Nightingale (1820-1910) is best known for her role during the Crimean War and is considered a founder of modern nursing. She spent much of her childhood at her uncle Peter's estate at nearby Lea Hurst that was bequeathed to Florence's father on condition he take the Nightingale name.

  • Large picture windows allow plenty of natural light and enjoyment of the breathtaking views.

  • Spacious ensuite shower room with Grohe thermostatic shower and taps.

  • All linen and towels provided.

Additional dogs or other pets will be considered on a case-by-case basis - please get in touch in advance of your stay. Derwent Lodge has more floor space so is better suited to more than one large dog. 

Hopton, Arkwright and Nightingale lodges are around 300sqft - more than one dog may feel a bit cramped!
